At Excellent Minds Inc, our CDS are designed to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to become active participants in their communities. Through a variety of engaging activities and events, we provide opportunities for personal growth, skill development, and community engagement.
Meaningful Day Services
Our CDS program offers meaningful day services that are provided in various community settings, including volunteering opportunities. Participants can engage in activities for up to 6 hours per day, 5 days a week, including transitional employment, employment supports, and day habilitation services.
Customized Programs
Our CDS program staff works closely with participants to design programs that effectively engage them in their preferred community activities. From local community events to self-advocacy classes, self-improvement workshops, and volunteering at nonprofit organizations, we offer a wide range of activities to cater to individual interests and preferences.
Pathways to Employment
Through internships and vocational training opportunities, participants have the chance to gain valuable knowledge and work experience that can lead to gainful employment. Our goal is to support individuals in developing the skills and confidence they need to pursue their career goals and contribute meaningfully to the workforce.
